Frequently I am asked advice as to “How can I make money on the Internet”, a question in itself that has many answers.

Many anticipate that I will be able to provide them with a “Magic Formula” that’s going to work instantly but soon become disillusioned when I advise that it’s no different to a real world job were actual work is involved.

Obviously eBay and Affiliate programs offer good starting points, clearly you are not going to make your first million overnoght but it will provide you with valuable experience.

So armed with some ideas the prospective “Marketers” set out to find their niche and be rewarded for their efforts.

But what happens next will surprise some…I get a message, I’t didn’t work, I haven’t made any money!!

On asking why almost on every occasion the answers the same, I tried it once and it didn’t work even though they were told you need to be patient and very persistant this message is quickly forgotten because their first cheque hasn’t arrived in the mail.

Yet somehow they believe you have given them poor advice and should be responsible for them failing.

My comment is always…You will only fail if you fail to work!!

Nothing comes easy and in my mind Procrastination Never Pays if you are not prepared to put in some effort you shouldn’t expect anything in return.

Just my take on things…others however may see it differently.
