Critical Windows Update: - Heads up Microsoft customers. The monthly patch schedule for Tuesday includes six security updates affecting Windows, one of which is rated “critical.”

As part of its Thursday ritual of letting customers know what’s on tap for its once-a-month patch schedule, Microsoft said it plans six patches for next Tuesday, Aug. 9, for Windows versions. The highest Maximum Severity rating for these is Critical, it added.
