Is anyone reading your blog?, Or mine for that matter?

So why am I canvassing this topic, well it’s in response to a question I had posed to me yesterday.

Question: What is it that you are offering and expect from your blog?

It gives you cause to ponder from time to time…

You start what you believe is a blog with a future, that is; A blog that offers practical and sensible comment about a topic of your choice.

You set up your blog to allow visitors to get email alerts of new posts and live feeds if they want it, then you get to work…full of anticipation.

Day after day you post, you gain a few comments and this keeps you motivated to post more, one or two sign up for email alerts so your confidence builds, well at least a few people seem to have an interest in what I have to say you think.

But have you really considered why you set up your blog initially?, was it because everyone else seemed to have one it did you have a purpose in mind?

Many blogs today are set up simply as a platform to generate revenue from Google Adsense and many would be blog surfers are turned off by sites that are obviously set up for this purpose.

In my case it is about sharing my thoughts and ideas in regards to online business and associated topics with like minded people…

My one hope is that they are gaining something from my efforts.

If only they would take the time to tell me!
